R_9 Modular Shelving System – Architecture in Motion 

The R_9 Shelving System is a striking expression of modular freedom and sculptural design. 

With its harmonious blend of linear and curved shelves intersecting a refined metal tube structure, R_9 transforms storage into architecture — equally at home in executive offices, contract interiors, and residential environments. 

Designed around the principles of sustainability and circularity, R_9 is manufactured from a single recyclable material family and can be fully disassembled without glue, ensuring long life, reusability, and responsible production. 

Design & Materials 

The structure is composed of Ø18 mm epoxy powder-coated steel tubes forming sides and crosspieces, joined by discreet plastic connectors that are completely hidden once assembled. 

● Shelves: 1.5 mm steel sheet, resting directly on the crosspieces and secured with metric screws. 

● Back panels & splashbacks: 0.7 mm steel sheet, designed to flex smoothly and follow curved layouts. 

● Finishing detail: Special colour-matched metal dowels close all visible gaps, completing the design with precision. 

All components are finished in epoxy powder coating, guaranteeing durability and visual consistency. 

System Configurations 

R_9 offers exceptional compositional freedom, allowing both linear and curved organic layouts: 

● Linear modules (A): 

Widths: 382 / 482 / 782 / 982 mm 

● Curved modules – internal radius 553 mm, 45° opening (B): Widths: 400 / 500 / 800 / 1000 mm 

● Curved modules – internal radius 2053 mm, 22.5° opening (C): The outer radius is calculated by adding the module depth to the internal radius.

The system can be installed against walls or used as a freestanding room divider.
